Why did we make PW1?
Many protein supplements contain artificial sweeteners, additives and unnecessary ingredients. We want products that only contains the essential building blocks for recovery.
Ingredient History
PW1 is pasture raised as well as non-GMO, hormone, antibiotics- and pesticide free. Whey from non-GMO pasture raised cattle is preferable over whey from conventionally raised cattle.
PW1 is made with 80% whey protein concentrate. The fresh whey is separated from the curds using an ultra-filtration process. Low temperature processing ensures retention of both nutritional and functional properties. Un-instantized whey protein concentrate is the least processed form of a whey protein supplement, having the most intact, native proteins to be handled naturally by the body. It needs a good shake due to its non-instantized nature.
Many approaches exist to provide a tasty protein powder. We believe in natural ingredients and no artificial additives, and that is why there are only 4-5 ingredients (flavor-dependent) in PW1.
Consumption and Storage
Directions for use
Mix one scoop of PW1 with approximately 250 ml water. Also delicious with almond milk or mixed with fruits and greens in a smoothie. The minimal processing of the whey means that you need to give it a good shake.
Take PW1 just after your workout to make sure the right building blocks are available for your muscles to recover and get stronger. PW1 can also be used as a protein supplement during the day to make sure you reach your protein requirement or just as a convenient, filling snack.

What amount of cholesterol is in PW1?
Puori PW1 holds about 50mg of cholesterol per serving – an average amount for 30g of whey protein powder. This should not impose any health risk compared to the amount of protein you are getting (21g) unless you are in a genetically disposed high-risk group for high cholesterols blood levels.

What are natural flavors made of?
The natural flavors in our PW1, which constitute less than 0.2% of the product, are primarily derived from fermented stevia - a flavor component extracted through a natural fermentation process.
All our products comply with European food legislation. This means that when we use the term "natural," the flavoring components we use must be naturally present and identified in nature. Additionally, we are not allowed to intentionally modify the chemical structure of the natural flavor components using harsh reagents or radiation.
What is the difference between the light, regular and strong. Is there a difference in the nutrition?
The nutritional content and quality of our protein powder remain consistent across all subscription plans - Light, Regular, and Strong. The primary difference lies in the recommended serving size, which is tailored to your body weight and protein intake goals:
- Light: Designed for individuals weighing between 100-130 lbs, aiming for a daily protein intake of 80-130g, with 15-25g supplemented from protein powder.
- Regular: Suited for those weighing 130-170 lbs, targeting a daily protein intake of 100-170g, with 20-45g supplemented from protein powder.
- Strong: Ideal for individuals weighing 170-250 lbs, aiming for a daily protein intake of 130-250g, with 35-65g supplemented from protein powder.
These recommendations are based on general guidelines of consuming 0.8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, depending on your health and fitness goals.
